San Javier Airport is a mere 5 minutes away which makes this the ideal place for weekend golf breaks and city breaks as well.  Alicante Airport is 45 minutes away.  The ancient Moorish city of Cartagena is 20 minutes drive where you will find some the most amazing shops and boutiques, wonderful architecture and the stunning marina frequently used for the many cruise liners visiting the area.  The city of Murcia, the regions capital is a 30 minute drive.  Here you will have an excellent shopping experience, relax in the many traditional plazas abundant in bars and restaurants and sample the Murcian way of life.

Roda Golf & Beach Resort is located just outside the picturesque village of Roda near to the town of Los Alcazares which lies on the shores of the Mar Menor. Murcia city is situated about 15 minutes away where you will find everything from Ikea, Primark on the outskirts of the city to the beautiful boutiques that line the cobbled streets in the city centre.

Roda Golf & Beach Resort has signed an agreement with De Vere Hotels, under the terms of which the British firm will manage a luxury hotel to be sited within the resort.  This is the first time the British company is to manage a hotel outside the British Isles, a clear indication of the interest De Vere has in the project.
